Important information for first time users:
This online lesson is designed to be used on a cable or satellite internet connection and using an up to date web browser with Javascript support. We recommend the use of Firefox 2.0. With these facilities you will be able to enjoy the illustrations and all the interactive features.
To benefit from doing the lesson you should try to answer all the questions and complete the exercises. Nobody will be looking over your shoulder, so it is up to you and how much you want to teach yourself! At the end you will be able to download a summary and some readings that we have chosen. We will also give you some ideas of things you could do as a follow-up.
Important information for lowband users:
If you have a slow internet connection, you can switch to a low bandwidth version by clicking the lowband link at the top of this page. This will give you a plain text version. It is not so pretty but you will be able to read the lesson and complete the exercises.
Please do not use the lowband link from the main site - you will not be able to use the interactive features. If you have been using that lowband filter, please switch back to the highband page and then click the lowband link on this page.
